The Sri Lankan upcountry is a very popular travel destination and is also known for its cool climate. Lush green tea plantations, misty mountains, and vegetable and fruit cultivations are very common. It is also called Little England because of its charming old architecture. On the other hand, Ella is very famous all over the world for the Ella train ride, Ella Rock, the Nine Arch Bridge, breathtaking views, and waterfalls.

Beaches and Surfing Experience

Sri Lanka’s coastline is perfect for beach lovers and surfing. Especially, Arugam Bay on the east coast is world-famous and ideal for surfing. Mirissa and Weligama beaches are well known for beginners. Hikkaduwa Beach is famous for its coral reefs and lively beach atmosphere. Talpe, Nilaveli, Akurala, Kalutara, and many other beaches around Sri Lanka provide enchanting wildlife views and surf safaris.

Furthermore, every part of Sri Lanka has many ancient ruins.

Sri Lanka is a hidden gem in the ocean. In my point of view, this island offers everything a traveler could want. When I visited the same place twice, the experience felt completely different from the first time. I felt as if I had never been there before.
